Editorial Policy.

MADAR is an independent digital magazine covering news, art, technology and trends. This page explains how we choose what to publish and how we handle mistakes and advertising.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made by the editorial team alone. Neither advertisers nor the companies whose products we review influence what we write or when we publish it, and advertising is clearly separated from editorial content.

Verification and sources

We rely on primary sources whenever possible and name them unless there is a professional reason to protect them. Breaking news is published after verification by at least two independent sources, and we state what we have not yet been able to confirm.

Reviews

We review products after using them for long enough to form a judgement. When the review unit is provided by the company we say so in the article, and the source of the unit never affects the verdict.

Corrections

When we get something wrong we correct it in the article itself and mark the correction with its date. Readers can report errors through the corrections address on the contact page.

Artificial intelligence

We may use AI tools for supporting tasks such as transcription and first-pass translation, but every published text is written and reviewed by a human editor who takes responsibility for it.
